Toe callus - The Horse Forum
This horse is the biggest health train wreck I have ever owned. He is a gentle sweet loving horse but, as the saying goes, "if he had a duck it would drown" :-| A Good Horseman Doesn't Have To Tell Anyone; The Horse Already Knows. I can’t ride 'em n slide 'em. I have to lead 'em n feed 'em Thnx cowchick77.
Who has used Adequan? - The Horse Forum
The vet is recommending we start Moonshine on Adequan. A couple of things so people don't start making assumptions and then basing their responses off that: I am aware that this is a intramuscular injectable that needs to be administered every several days, and I am comfortable doing that. The...
Equine Chiropractic Adjustment--The Poll - The Horse Forum
In an earlier post I described the most widely used chiropractic adjustment to move the horse's atlas (first neck bone, which is sometimes referred to as the poll). Today I will go over another technique for the atlas plus the evaluation that answers the question: How Do You Know Which Side To...
Easyboot Cloud VS. Soft Ride for founder - The Horse Forum
My mare recently foundered and has developed a mild coffin bone rotation. The farrier has been out and she has been through 2 courses of drugs prescribed by the vet but is still recovering, so I am looking into therapy boots for her. Does anyone have experience with the EASY BOOT CLOUD or the...

I own a 3 horse slant (2015) Homesteader Stallion bumper pull and it still looks like the day we bought it. It has the rumbar flooring standard which is the best in the industry and the inside is all finished off.

Best Tack Colors for Each Horse Color? - The Horse Forum
Can you all share photos showing which tack colors (in your opinion) set off a horses particular coat color? For instance, the chestnut/sorrel colored horses never really caught my eye, until I saw an endurance horse of that color tacked up in bright teal blue. Wowza, it just made the horse...
Help with Identifying your Saddle's maker - The Horse Forum
Lots of times people come into possession of a nice older saddle that they have no idea of the maker. Usually, saddles have the maker's MARK in some location on the saddle. Many English saddles have the maker's mark on the sweat flap or on the girth buckle protectors, or on a metal tab...
Warbles on Horses - The Horse Forum
When they reach a likely spot-usually the horse's back-they form anthill shaped lumps on the skin surface. Each larva's apartment has a tiny breathing hole that oozes pink fluid. Getting rid of warbles is tricky, since crushing one in the skin can set off a possibly fatal allergic reaction.
