eCVT Explained with easy to understand model | Toyota Forum
To the best of my knowledge all Toyota hybrid cars/CUVs are eCVT. You'll have to focus on a specific model/year and check the specs for it AKA: MI-Silver-HL & MI-HL - If I don't respond to an ignorant or asinine post I'm ignoring you - not agreeing with you.
Hybrid Cold Weather Operation | Toyota Forum
Since all new Camrys are hybrid, is there provision for warming the traction battery during cold weather operation? If not, has Toyota given up on providing a popular car for year-round use in all parts of the country?
Parking brake auto engaging? | Toyota Forum
This is how the manual parking brake was meant to be used in older cars so as to put the least pressure on the parking pawl. The pawl is not a brake. It's a pity several generations of drivers still don't know how to park correctly. Toyota reputation of quality and reliability - overrated?
I'm curious to hear the opinion of other Toyota owners. My personal experience with Toyota cars has been a mixed bag. I have owned and have first-hand experience with vehicles from many different manufacturers, and Toyota does not stand out as particularly better than any other car brand I...
Permanently disable auto Start/Stop? | Toyota Forum
I have a new 2017 Highlander and I'm trying to see if there is any way to permanently disable the auto start/stop 'feature'. I hit the button every time I start the car now, but it would be nice if there was a way to just disable it altogether. Any ideas?
Undercarriage wash safe? | Toyota Forum
Well I don't own a new Camry, but have had multiple Toyota hybrid cars and a Rav4 hybrid currently and live in upstate NY where they cover the roads with salt. My wife and I always wash the vehicles though out the winter at drive though car washes that do the under carriage wash and never had a problem. I couldn't imagine not washing the under side of my vehicle living here. That's interesting ...
